Cakes and Spring Cleaning

I'm gonna be kind of busy this week, because I'm working on a graduation cake for one of my awesome friends who is soon to get her Masters Degree. And then onto the planning for my niece's graduation cake as she finishes up her public High School education! Gosh, I remember seeing her tiny, pink and screaming at the hospital when she was born. I feel creaky...

Anyway, good things shall come of this! Namely I will be posting pictures and how to's and what I screwed up and how I possibly fixed it...you know, the usual. I have a feeling these are going to be some of my first exciting masterworks, as I'm branching out into the wild world of fondant.

Plus, I'm making some spectacular lemon curd.

So as soon as all that's done I shall be back to the posting. In the meantime, I'm trying to go back through my old recipes and clean them up. Post pictures that never got posted either due to not having a camera or the period after camera death. Also, back when I started this blog they didn't have the nifty tag feature so you could find things easily, so I'll be going back to tag the old recipes.
